A reflection on my calling

  1. I absolutely love this post. Right now, at the age of 29 years old the Lord has also called me to use my voice and talents to heal and help others get through their adversity. I was so fearful of stepping out into the blogging world. Your post is confirmination that achieving and honoring what God wants for me is POSSIBLE even if I cannot foresee the outcome. My family and I are in a humbling situation where finances are concern. But, God has always blessed us with more than even. I glad God put you in my path. Keep up the good work.

    1. Please let me know from time to time how your ministry is thriving. I learned, finally, that God’s presence with us really is so much more than we could ever hope for. Thank you for being so encouraging.

  2. Hi Dorothy I love your writing it is so soothing to my soul. I have walked with Jesus for 30 years now and sometimes I have felt the calling has been buried and forgotten, but not by God. He is faithful and has walked me through more valleys than I care to remember. He told me as a younger woman to be like David in the sheep pen, sing songs to Him and look after the sheep. (I have 6 children) and many others who have come and gone through our home over the decades and that He knew where I lived. Thanks for your beautiful post.

  3. Dorothy, how beautiful are your words to my eyes and to my soul. I love to read all of your post even though I may not comment. As well, I forward them to my nieces, Bert and Liz for their reading. Keep writing, you have an audience.
    Bless you and hugs.
