Anyone who has visited an African country has been greeted with the phrase, “Welcome home.” No matter which country, no matter your place of origin as an African person. You are greeted with a hug that makes you feel accepted and a hearty “Welcome home.”
If we could label Grace with two words, those two words would be welcome home. Grace is the power of God, reminding us of who we are.
Grace reminds us of who we are created to be.
Grace strips us of the filthy clothes we wear in our minds.
Grace erases the list of sins to which we continually add.

Grace cleanses.
Grace dresses us in the righteous clothes of Jesus Christ.
Grace equips us with a clean hands and the pure heart required by Psalm 24 to ascend God’s mountain and stand in God‘s holy place.
Grace names us holy people of God.
Grace reminds us that we are God‘s peculiar treasure and royal priesthood; God‘s particular meticulously crafted personal creation.
Grace seals us through the power of the Holy Spirit until the day that Jesus returns.
Welcome home, women and children
Welcome home, sisters and brothers
Welcome home, children of God
Welcome home!
